Finishing

The final coat or top coat of plaster is probably the most important as it is the final coat; this coat of plaster is often referred to as a skim.
When plastering over existing plaster or previously painted surfaces, then a coat of diluted PVA bonding is applied to assist with adhesion.
There are two ways of apply the final coat either applying one coat of finishing plaster or two coats of finishing plaster depending on the condition of the surface where the plaster is to be applied.

Multi Finish is a good final coat plaster provides good results on all suction backgrounds, Multi Finish is the best choice for plastering where both undercoats and board backgrounds are involved on the same job.
It is also ideal for small jobs and patching.

Board Finish is the ideal final coat plaster for low-medium suction backgrounds such as plasterboard and Dri-Coat.

Dura Finish is a hardwearing plaster for hardworking buildings Gypsum finish plaster specially formulated for increased resistance to accidental damage.
Enables significantly longer maintenance intervals and lower long-term cost.
