Blues & Greens are known as cool paints colours and would be used in small rooms and hallways.

Reds are stimulating, Oranges are warm, Yellows are vibrant, Blues are cooling, Green is the colour of nature and Purples are calming.

Lighter coloured paints such as pastels and whites create space and if applied to a ceiling appear to add extra height. Darker paint shades draw surfaces nearer and appear to make walls look nearer.
